Infrared Camera - Flir

Thermographic or Infrared imaging is used during the inspection to help identify areas of heat loss or gain, water infiltration through foundations, roof and wall leaks, plumbing leaks, and electrical overheating.  A thermographic image is an image showing the different temperatures of the surface at which it’s directed.  This can be used to identify cold areas in exterior walls and ceilings including missing insulation, poor weatherstripping, thermal breaks, overheating wires and other problems. Heating ducts, studs, headers, joists and rafters can often be located with amazing accuracy inside walls.

Thermal Images

The images generated by the thermographic camera will be included in the report.  If a problem area is noted, the thermographic image will be accompanied by a digital photo to provide context and to make it easy to locate the area of concern.

Drone - DJI Mavic Mini

While walking your roof is still usually the best way to examine it, a drone with capacity to take both still images and video in 2.7K, can get us to places a ladder simply can’t. Whether the roof is too steep, or weather is making it un-walkable, the Mavic Mini helps us inspect all of your roof, all of the time. As such, flying the drone allows for a fast, efficient, and safe way for home inspectors to perform a thorough roof inspection without a lot of the downfalls that come with traditional methods of roof inspections.

Unique Angles

Flying the drone can get us into spaces you cannot see from the ground or inspect with a ladder, which gives us the unique opportunity to get a better understanding of the property as well as the neighborhood.

Ferret Cam

From septic tanks to chimney chases, The ferret cam lets us get into spaces that we would otherwise not be able to inspect. This is not a tool used often, but is irreplaceable when needed. Its vast array of attachments and built-in LED allows us to see into the deepest and darkest of spaces!
